Founded in 2020 by nail artist Mina Choi in a sunlit second-floor space above Sunset Boulevard, Maison Laque has grown into a three-chair studio known for long-lasting structured manicures and delicate, wearable art.

Consultation and shapeWe look at your natural nails, talk lifestyle and length, then file to the shape that suits your hands.
Cuticle and prepGentle e-file or hand care, dehydrate, then a thin bonding layer. Prep is 80% of how long a set lasts.
Build and colourStructured gel to balance the apex, then two thin colour coats, each cured under a low-heat LED lamp.
Finish and careArt, top coat, cuticle oil and a short hand massage. You leave with an aftercare card and a 7-day guarantee.

How long will my gel or structured manicure last?
Most clients get 3 to 4 weeks from structured gel and 2 to 3 weeks from a regular gel manicure. If anything lifts within 7 days, come back and we fix it for free.
Is structured gel bad for my natural nails?
Not when it is applied and removed properly. We never use coarse drill bits on the natural nail and we soak or gently file off product. Many clients grow their nails longer with structure than without.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us 24 hours notice to move or cancel. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the booked service, because that time was reserved just for you.
Can I bring inspiration photos?
Please do. Add them in the booking notes or send them on WhatsApp beforehand so your artist can estimate the time for detailed art.
Do you do group or bridal bookings?
Yes. We can open the studio early on Saturdays for groups of up to 6. Start with a free bridal consultation and we will plan shades, shapes and timing.
Is the studio accessible?
We are on the second floor with a lift from the courtyard. Pedicure chairs are adjustable and we keep a step-free route to the washroom.
