The house

A neighbourhood bar for curious drinkers.

Lierre is a narrow room of old oak, low light and a long marble bar. We pour wines from small growers who farm without shortcuts, and we will happily talk you through every bottle.

Not sure what you like? Tell us the last wine you loved, or the last meal you will not forget. We will open something to match, taste it with you, and pour only if you are smiling.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Anything else? Message us on WhatsApp, we answer between 14:00 and 23:00.

Do I need a reservation?

We recommend booking for tables, especially Thursday to Saturday. The twelve bar seats are always kept for walk-ins, first come, first served.

Is it a full restaurant or just snacks?

Both. You can graze on olives and a glass, or order four or five plates to share as a full dinner. Most couples order three to four plates.

Do you have options without alcohol?

Yes: two alcohol-free sparkling wines, house shrubs, kombucha on tap and a non-alcoholic spritz. Nobody gets a sad soda here.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Vegetarian and vegan plates are marked on the menu. Tell us about allergies when you book and the kitchen will adapt most dishes.

Do you host private events?

The back room seats 18 and the whole bar up to 50 standing. We build a custom menu and wine pairing; ask us for the events sheet.

Can I buy bottles to take home?

Most bottles on our list can be taken home at retail price plus a small fee. Ask your server for the take-away list.
